Lithonia, GA

Lithonia is a city in Dekalb County, Georgia, United States. The population was 1,924 at the 2010 census. Lithonia is in the Atlanta metropolitan area. Lithonia is bordered to the north, east, and south by unincorporated areas of Dekalb County and to the west by the city of Stonecrest. Lithonia is located in the growing I-20 corridor East of Atlanta. Although Lithonia is mainly a residential suburb of Atlanta, it does have several commercial and industrial districts. The city also contains a large park, Semmes Lake Park, which offers hiking trails, fishing, and picnicking facilities. Lithonia is served by MARTA bus service and is near several major highways, making it a convenient location for commuters.
